European Reliance - Trip for the top insurance agents of our Sales Network in Saint Petersburg
Chalandri, June 11, 2019 - The top Insurance Mediators of European Reliance of the 2018 Sales Contest were awarded with a journey to Saint Petersburg, Russia.
From the 9th to 13th of May, the 81 participants experienced 5 days of relaxation, tours and various activities organized by the Company in the Venice of the North, the aristocratic city of Saint Petersburg, the only big city in the world that has been identified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
The participants were guided in the old city of Saint Petersburg and went sightseeing in places such as the “Savior on Blood”, a Church with medieval architecture, different from the Neoclassical and Baroque Architecture in the temples of the city, the Dom Knigi, also known as the House of Books and the Saint Isaac’s Cathedral. Moreover, they crossed the imposing Palace bridge, over the Neva river between the Palace Square and the Vasilievsky island and visit Peterhof, the summer palace that was built by Peter the Great as a reaction to the Palace of Versailles of King Luis XIV of France.
One of the most important moments of the journey was the visit to the largest museum of the world, the famous Hermitage, hosted in a group of six building, the Winter Palace, in the banks of river Neva. The museum hosts collections of the greatest artists in the History of Art, with over 3,000,000 exhibits.
The Company surprised the successful candidates with a program full of surprising events, such as the ballet performance of the famous “Swan Lake”, the transfer with impressive carriages for the night of the award ceremony in the Palace of Grand Duke Vladimir. The palace has not changed since 1872 and is an integral part of the culture and tradition of Russia.
Part of the award ceremony was the motivational speech of Dr. Karolos- Konstantinos Papadas, Assistant Professor of Marketing in the York Management School, that aimed to inspire the participants with useful advice on the utilization of the personal branding.
The 81 participants were accompanied by Mr. Christos Georgakopoulos, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Mr. Stefanos Verzovitis, Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Vassiliki Roussi, Commercial Director, Mr. George Gkotzageorgis, Marketing and Sales Network Support Director, and executive directors of the Internal Functions of the Company.
In an incredible festive environment, the participants renewed their annual rendez-vous for the next journey of the Sales Network in Cote d’ Azur.
