2. The Company is a comprehensive insurance company and and operates in all Insurance Sectors.


3. The insurance policy that will be delivered to the policyholder will be issued by the headquarters of the Company in the aforementioned address.


4. The law applicable to the insurance policy is the Greek law.


5. The method and time for the resolution of complaints of the insured is the following:

The Complainant may send the written complaint through the website www.europaikipisti.gr, through the e-mail address complaints@europisti.gr or in the address of the Company - Complaints Office, 274 Kifisias Avenue, 15232 Chalandri, by attaching any document significant on the matter.

The aforementioned activation of the mechanism for management of complaints does not interrupt the write-off of the legitimate interests.

The Company replies in writing within 25 calendar days, since the receipt of the complaint, according to its policy, within the deadline of fifty (50) calendar days, as defined in the Executive Committee Act No. 3/08-01-2013 of the Bank of Greece.


6.  Within the framework of Directive No. 2013/11/EC, which complied with the Greek legislation with the CFA 70330/2015, the possibility of on-line resolution of disputes between the consumers and on-line suppliers is provided through the On-line Dispute Resolution Platform (ODR), that is directly linked to the competent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Bodies which are:

(a) the independent Authority “Consumer Ombudsman” (http://www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr/index.html) and

(b) the Ombudsman for Banking Services & Investment (https://hobis.gr/en/).

Before proceeding to a request to an ADR body, the consumer ought to previously contact the supplier and settle the dispute directly with the supplier.

In any case, the courts of Athens shall be competent over the ADR, as to whether the dispute will be resolved in a compromise.
